Rinseless dry wash, degrease, de-ice boot service, and corrosion prevention for private, corporate, and government aircraft. Boeing D6-17487 and Airbus AMS approved products only. We come to your hangar across New England.
We don’t do brightwork. We don’t do boats. We do the work that keeps an airframe protected, and we do it better than anyone on this ramp.
Full exterior, glass, gear and wheel wells. No wash rack required and no runoff, so we can work in hangars and on ramps where water is restricted. Most of the field can’t. We can.
The part nobody wants to do, and the part that hides corrosion. Exhaust trail, belly, and the surfaces you only see when the aircraft is on jacks.
Cleaned, conditioned, and protected with manufacturer-approved product. The wrong chemical on a boot voids the warranty and can stop it shedding ice. That’s a safety item, not a shine item.
Leather, carpet, headliner, plastics, and glass. Cabin-safe products only. No residue, no odor, no film on the windows at altitude.
Long-term paint protection against UV, moisture, and rain erosion. Coming soon.
Recurring service on a set interval, documented every time, built around corrosion control instead of appearance. Salt air doesn’t take a season off.
Every aircraft we touch gets a written report. Photographed panel by panel.
Corrosion risk areas, paint condition and remaining life, boot condition,
and a recommended service interval. You keep it. You don’t owe us anything for it.
We’re not selling you the next job. We’re showing you your airplane.
Norwood, Hanscom, the Cape, and the islands, plus the fields most detailers won’t drive to. We come to your hangar or FBO. Flying into somewhere off the chart? We travel to it.
The FAA classifies coastal operations as a severe corrosion environment.
And on this coast it isn’t only the ocean. Runways and taxiways get
chemically de-iced every winter, and all of it goes straight up into your
belly, gear, and wheel wells. Two sources of salt. Neither of them stops.
Pick your home field. See where you actually stand.
Severity framework references FAA Advisory Circular 43-4B, Corrosion Control for Aircraft. Distances are measured to the nearest tidal water. Humidity and freezing-day figures are regional climate normals and are approximate. This is a planning tool, not an inspection. It doesn’t replace looking at the airplane, and neither do we.
A clean aircraft is the outcome. The point is the surface underneath it.
We walk the airframe with you. Paint condition, oxidation, crazing, sealant, and any pre-existing damage gets photographed before a single product comes out.
Wash, rinseless, or dry depending on the airframe, the finish, the ramp, and the water restrictions in play. The method follows the aircraft, not our habits.
Top down. Controlled product. Clean media on every panel. Flaps lowered so the surfaces nobody sees on the ground actually get attention.
Seal and protect. The finish holds longer, the next wash is easier, and the substrate stays where you want it: covered.
We walk it again together. You see exactly what changed and exactly what we found. Before and after, documented.
Ask around and you’ll get quoted $500 by one shop and $2,000 by the next for the same airplane. That’s not a market. That’s a guess. So here’s the whole card. Condition and access can move the final number, and you’ll know that number before we open a bottle. Never after.

Standalone. Manufacturer-approved product only. Wrong chemical voids the warranty and can stop the boot shedding ice.
Nights, weekends, quick turns. You depart at 0600, we work at 2300. Somebody answers the phone.
For Part 145 shops. Sanding dust, tape residue, fingerprints. The aircraft goes back to the owner looking like your shop meant it.
Every aircraft based on this coast is corroding right now. A wash twice a year doesn’t stop it. A program does. Set interval, documented every visit, with a written condition report you keep.

Listed rates cover mainland fields within 40 miles of Norwood (KOWD). Island fields (Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket) and longer hauls carry a travel line, quoted in writing before we roll. Fleet and flight department programs are quoted per aircraft. Government and public-sector work is quoted per solicitation. Every price on this page includes the Ready Five Condition Report at no charge.
Every aircraft we service gets shot the same way: before and after, same angle, same light, panel by panel. Results land here as jobs come through, and you get the full photo set with your Condition Report.
Ready Five was founded by an operator with 8 years in airport operations and aircraft rescue firefighting as an ARFF EMT, plus a law enforcement career that included working alongside federal agencies, including U.S. Secret Service motorcade and protective support. The person on your ramp has been federally background-checked and cleared, has trained for flight-line emergencies, and moves with discretion around high-profile principals. Most detailers learned on cars. We learned on the flight line, under standards that don’t allow mistakes.
Stated as prior experience, not an endorsement by any agency.
Aircraft wash, corrosion prevention and control, and appearance care. Structured for federal, state, and prime-contractor requirements.
Yes. Everything we use on aircraft meets Boeing D6-17487 and Airbus AMS material specifications. No exceptions.
Always. We are fully mobile and detail your aircraft at your hangar or FBO at Norwood (KOWD), Hanscom (KBED), Martha’s Vineyard (KMVY), and across New England.
Our rate card is published above by aircraft class. Condition and access can move the final number, and you get it in writing before we start.
No. Aircraft only, that’s the whole business, and it’s deliberate. The one exception: active aircraft clients and their flight crews can have personal vehicles handled to the same standard. Invite-only, a courtesy for our aircraft clients, never a public service.
Yes. Cirrus, Bonanza, 172-class and up, with a published rate right on the card above. Same Boeing and Airbus approved products, same documentation, whether it’s a piston single at Norwood or a Gulfstream at Hanscom.
Based at Norwood Memorial (KOWD), covering Hanscom (KBED), Boston, Providence, the Cape, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket, and we travel across MA, RI, CT, NH, and ME. If your field isn’t on the scope, we come to it.
Walk-arounds are free. Quotes are firm before we touch the aircraft.
